Quite a cozy holiday home near Reykjavik
The house is quite comfortably furnished and the equipment is still quite new. The house was acceptable - it was not dirty but there was surprisingly amount of dust in various places. The kitchen was well equipped, so that we could easily serve ourselves. In the next town there are several supermarkets - that makes shopping for Icelandic conditions very relaxed. The house is very close to nature and calm. In almost 30 minutes you are still in the inner stand of Reykjavik by car. This is great for day trips and Abneds is back in the quiet area. Alternatively, you can go straight from the front door to the verses hikes through beautiful nature. Ingenious. Next to the house there is a small chicken coop with 5-6 chickens. Attention: Apparently the chickens can leave the stable and are quite curious.
Unlike the other accommodations we had on Iceland, this accommodation was heated by warm air heating. There is still a small electrical radiator in the sleeping area. Despite these two devices, it was only warm in the house. At the dining table, for example, it stayed cool.
